I Wait Expectantly

Do you remember the excitement and anticipation
you felt when you were a little kid whose birthday
was near? That reward was coming- the gift of a
new toy, gadget or dress and it left you reeling with
joy and wonder. 

Isn't that the same way we should be living each day in CHRIST?

I know I can get so sidetracked by the turmoil that surrounds me that I forget all of my answered prayers of the past. I get blinded by my present situation and lose sight of my faith.

Today! I will wait expectantly on the LORD with the wonder and excitement of a child. My GOD longs to be gracious to me! I just need to be patient and wait (expectantly).
